OXYGENIC is an independent bar, cafe, art, music and social space, in Whitley Bay, brought to life by the people who walk through our door and by the musicians and artists we collaborate with.

Our front bar and outdoor terrace is always open for walk-in drinks with a relaxed vibe, great cocktails and a curated mix of international and independent beers and wines.

Behind it, the Cave Bar brings a different kind of energy with live music, art exhibitions, private takeovers, large group bookings and celebrations.

Everything in OXYGENIC has been created by the people who work here, from the art on the walls, the furniture, floors and organic aesthetic, to the cocktails and the custom sound system.

We are a grassroots space that continues to grow and evolve, and we would love you to be part of our journey, whether you are here for a live music event, a night in the bar, one of our creative workshops or the whole path ahead.
